Noted Civil War experts Brandi C. Brimmer and Judith Giesberg are leading a discussion on the 16th president and the amendment abolishing slavery during the eighth annual Frank and Virginia Williams Lecture Series on Abraham Lincoln and Civil War Studies.

Students in Mississippi State鈥檚 Judy and Bobby Shackouls Honors College will present the tragedy 鈥淭hyestes鈥� by Roman playwright Seneca the Younger on Sept. 24 and 25 as part of the university鈥檚 annual observation of Classical Week, a celebration of Greek, Roman and other cultures of the ancient world.
